We receive e-mails all the time from advertisers and readers alike. We love hearing your feedback! Business owners, we hope that someday soon, we'll be receiving an e-mail like this from your company. Please give us the chance to earn your praises!

Congratulations Tim and Chapel Hill News & Views from E.D.G.E. Ministries!  With every issue I read, you continue to honor God and bring Him glory with your efforts.  In this day and age, that is a HUGE testimony to His faithfulness to CHNV and your personal devotion to Him.  Douglas County is a better place, and God’s name is lifted up in our midst because of Chapel Hill News & Views and your labor though it!  Well done! Fellow advertisers and friends of CHNV: Won’t you join me in offering your words of encouragement, testimony and congratulations to Tim Collins & the Chapel Hill News & Views staff on their 100th issue and a job well done? Gary E. Kienel, E.D.G.E. Ministries

I don't know what happened, but I was just writing to say, WOW!!  When you have a dream, you sure do go all out for it!  I still remember the first issue, 100 ago.  I just wanted to tell you how classy it now looks. I can't believe how it just keeps getting better and better. It is also my primary phone book because you have everything up to date, and as we all know, businesses come and go very quickly. Thank you! Keep up the great work. Nancy Zose

Thanks for your patience with me and for always keeping me in the loop.  You have done such a tremendous job with the magazines. Columbia could use your help.  There is nothing there close to what you do.  They have local magazines with articles or small advertising booklets.  You have found a great formula for tying business interests and people related stories together that offers a true sense of community.  Douglasville and Villa Rica are lucky to have you. Sharon Mamrose

Tim, I first want to say that I am more than thrilled to see so much success happening for you. I can remember when you first started the chnv. You were always so nice to everyone and just projected such positive energy that people could not help but love you. I have worked in several different salons through the years and always loved seeing your smiling face come through the door. It is no surprise that God see fit for you to receive such success. You always have a kind word for people and you genuinely want to see others succeed. "In order to attract success, you need to welcome it wherever you see it." is a quote from a great book I read and I truly believe it to be true. You are the perfect example of that. The second thing I wanted to say is congratulations on the Villa Rica News and Views!!! What a great idea!! I know it will do well! Kimber

I can tell you from a personal experience, I find it very difficult to find current copies of the News because they disappear as soon as your delivery person places them out - I am on the hunt all the time.  When I find it, it is MINE!!  Yahoo - Thank you for a great publication. Pam Daniell, Sons of Confederate Veterans

Thanks so much - Lindsey did an incredible job - have had lots of responce already!! Ann Cockerill, Christmas in Lithia

I appreciate what you do for me, us and the people in the community.  I hear of more and more people who look forward to receiving the CHNV monthly to see what's new.  It is a positive presentation of our community.  The ads have helped, too.  Please keep up the good work. Jan Booth, Christian Community Orchestra

My mother is 72 years old and has a Douglasville address but actually lives in Paulding County…she will drive all over town to find the Chapel Hill News and Views. My mother thinks Chapel Hill News and Views is the greatest thing since sliced bread! I also think you guy’s do a wonderful job. Keep praising GOD for your blessings! Hope Beringause, Douglas County Parks & Recreation

Congratulations on the New Villa Rica Magazine!!!  No one deserves this success more than you and your family.   I sincerely hope you just keep growing and growing. Rita Rainwater, former Douglas County Commission Chairman

Jason, I would like to say that you are the most professional and efficient ad person I have ever worked with.  You should be so proud of the excellent customer service you provide.  I wish you were in charge of so many other ad departments.  Thank you so much for all of your help I really appreciated the timely manner in which  you returned phone calls as well as suggestions on ad design, placement and other suggestions. I would like you to forward this message to your boss because I want them to know how lucky they are to have you on staff.  Rosanna Tygrett., Orchid Medspa

Your mag has really helped us to survive...we have been averaging 10 new accounts per week for the two weeks following your distribution. All Service Lawn Care

CHNV has helped April tremendously and we would refer any one that has a local business to you guys. Joe & April Irons, K-9 Bath Time

Just wanted to take a moment to extend a very special thanks for this awesome publication..  I comb through it each and every time I get a new copy and it has been an invaluable resource for me and my family over the years. Please extend my thanks for all the time, dedication and commitment to our county.. we need more folks like you residing in our out-paced environment and the numbers are staggering! Diane L. Wiles

While reviewing my advertising , I have realized that a good many of the new clients have heard of us from CHNV so I would like you to keep me in indefinitely.  Lisa Wyatt, Ruff Daze Doggie Daycare and Boarding

I love, love, love the magazine!!! You all don't realize how much you end up making my oil change time such a breeze. I drop the car off at Pep Boys on Highway 5, walk over to Jolty's, order my fav. drink (Frosty Java Caramello), grab the latest edition of CHNV, and that hour flies by!!! I'm all the wiser on the latest sales and what's happening in D'ville! Thank you! Airianne Hillhouse, Union Christian Church

I can't begin to thank you enough for the little paragraph you put in the CHNV this month!  Because of you, we're starting a Miracle Mothers prayer group in Douglasville!  The response was AMAZING!!  I realize it's probably too late to go in July's issue, but if you could print the following each month, I believe women all over this area will be SOOOO blessed. Karen Cross, Miracle Mothers

I also would like to thank you for all your help, without your paper we would be able to get the word out about our new program. Most of the people who have signed up their kids saw our ad in your paper. Glenn Thomas, Chapel Hill Jr. Panthers

A recommendation from you goes a very long way! We certainly appreciate everything that you do for the school system as well as the community. You have a wonderful magazine that meets the needs of a lot of people and you know from whom your blessings come. I appreciate all you stand for and your willingness to always do the right thing. Brenda Spain, Community Relations Specialist, Douglas County School System

Thanks for all your support in advertising these support groups. We have had the highest response from your publication than from any of our other outlets. We encourage all of our attendees to get a copy of Chapel Hill News, follow your calendar for Douglas County activities, and patronize the advertising businesses! John Pearson, Director, Adult Singles, First Baptist Church Douglasville

The ad worked. We are full. I probably won't have to run anything until the fall. Thank you for everything!! Have a great day. Martha, Elite Academy

Jason, I would like to say that you are the most professional and efficient ad person I have ever worked with. You should be so proud of the excellent customer service you provide. I wish you were in charge of so many other ad departments. Just to let you know...your magazine has really helped us to survive...we have been averaging 10 new accounts per week for the two weeks following your distribution. Robert Norton, All Service Lawn Care

I can not tell you how many of my customers have said they read us in the Chapel Hill News. I was catering a women conferences in Atlanta and this lady was telling other people that the Chapel Hill New is next to her bed by here bible and she was reminded of the book because she saw on our food table food prepared by Fruit Of The Spirit Catering and she put your book and my business together. Jacquelyn Williams, Fruit of the Spirit Catering Company

I just wanted to send a note to let you know how much I love your Magazine. I moved to Douglasville in November of 2006 and ever since I got the first copy, I look for it every month. I read the articles, which tell me a lot about the wonderful history and on going activities in the neighborhood. It is very diverse and the businesses are great. I peruse through Chapel Hill News to try different restaurants in the community, and every time I need a Mr. Fix it, I pick up the Chapel Hill News again. I have always had great experiences with the businesses found in the magazine. Thank you. Much continued success!!! Corrine Lindo

Thanks for the quick response. Keep up the good work, I haven't found any publication that is as jam packed with so much information. It is a blessing.  Thanks again. Patricia Winfrey

WAY TO GO TEAM!! Congratulations. Our Lord is well aware who have the hands and feet that prayer works best on. Mary Walker

Congratulations on the award! Also, your summary of the distribution of the magazine is very well put together. It’s such a great magazine and the fact that you are working so hard to put it out there for everyone, makes the advertising opportunity very appealing. Shelley Mascitti

Tim - You and your team deserved this award and more - we are proud to have you in our community! As always, we are here should you need anything at all!  Kali Kirkham Boatright, President and CEO , Douglas County Chamber of Commerce

CONGRATULATIONS TIM!  It's amazing that we both started our businesses at the same time and have been working diligently to grow up, up, up!  I am so excited for you and the Chapel Hill News and Views...what an honor! God truly is the reason and he enlarges our hearts for our neighbors! Here's to a great 2007!  Judith Ann, Judith Ann Photography

I think the price increase is warranted and a very fair one at that. 10,000 more copies for an additional $60- Ha, can't touch that anywhere else...You have an avid and loyal advertiser in me!! Ellis Holloway, Dr. Fix It

Congratulations – You and your staff definitely earned this award. I hear nothing but praise for the CHN&V. Nelle Wigginton, Heritage Baptist Church

Congratulations on the award. I am proud to be a contributing writer, and I think that the magazine's growth has been extraordinary.  Eric Croas

Tim, CONGRATULATIONS! I wanted to tell you personally that I think your product has been very valuable to many organizations and businesses in the Douglasville/Douglas County area. Our organization is one of the many that has benefited. The parks department is still looking for a dependable partner to assist us with the production and distribution of a quarterly news magazine. You guys did that for us several years ago, and since then we have not been successful in securing a dependable source to help us out. If there is ever a chance that we might be able to work toward this again, please let me know. I do appreciate it and again congrats! Tracie Ivey

Thank you so much for your support of DCDC. Last night at our monthly meeting we had a new parent come and I asked her why she decided to come and she said it was the Chapel Hill News and Views. Your magazine is really making a difference in the community! The parent really wanted some information on how to get her middle school daughter involved in activities for those with disabilities in the community. Thank you again! - Christy

Thank you so much for what you have done for my brother, but more importantly for what you continuously do for the community at large. We are fortunate to have someone like you to facilitate so many great things. I know you are aware that it does not go un-noticed, but I wanted to let you know again --THANK YOU!!

We really appreciate you. I tell people all the time if they are only going to advertise one place it should be CHNV.  - Carol Grubstad

I was talking with Angie at Winston Academy and Pam at Winston Elementary on advertisement and we all agreed that you are the best. I know that when you are dealing with so many business and people the job is not always easy, but with our God all things are possible and he uses you all to make our business grow. Thanks so much. - Jacquelyn Williams

We here at the park love your publication. Keep up the good work! - Brittany

Y'all are doing a fabulous job! We love the CHN&V! When other agents ask us what JC's secret to his success is, we tell them one of the secrets is advertising in the CHN&V. We really believe that is one of the reasons for his success. Y’all are such a joy to work with and make everything easy for us! Thanks so much! Thanks, Vanessa Carter (Speaking about JC Carrollo)

So much exciting news about the CH News!! Thank you for sending these comprehensive e-mails. When we first moved here (3 years ago this week!!!) the CH News was paramount in helping us find businesses, restaurants, our family doctor, and many more services. Yes, we would have eventually struggled through without but I wanted you to know how easy it was because of the news -- sometimes it is easy to be so close to it that it is hard to realize how powerful this "little local magazine" really is for people. - Dave Hansey

Just wanted to let you know we don’t have any magazines on our resource table! When you can, please drop some by they are very popular. Thanks. Davidae Walker (Rideshare)

Everything looks GREAT and yes TONS of comments of the wedding picture, we had to get a couple books from everywhere!!! - Keri Pitts

Thank you so much for your help!! You guys there are the best!! I have had nothing short of a terrific experience every time I have dealt with you all!! Greatly appreciated! - Tara Fasone

How awesome that the magazine has grown so much! I love to read it and just picked my copy up off my driveway! I am at capacity for tutoring right now. If it is not any trouble, can I remove my (free) ad? I hate to keep turning people down! Thanks for letting me be a part of the magazine. If I can ever do anything to help you, let me know. I live in Villa Rica in Mirror Lake and people are always talking about what they have read! It is usually the topic at the pool!  Thanks and have a great weekend! - Kristi

Tim - What a wonderfully uplifting and encouraging e-mail! Thank you for sharing your joy. Many times, I think we as humans tend to go through our days not noticing how abundantly we are blessed by Him! Thank you for giving voice to your awareness of His bounty.  Here is my article for October - whew! This year has flown! Blessings - Denise

Tim, God surely does bless us even when we don’t realize it sometimes doesn’t He? I as well – love the magazine. Thanks for the hard work and dedication your team has put together to give us readers such a valuable and enjoyable tool. Sincerely, Jerie McGinnis

Hi Tim, My name is Amy Bolton and I am from the MOMS Club of Villa Rica. We have a spot in the community section of the magazine advertising our business meetings. We have had a great response from MOMS joining our club because they saw it in the magazine! Thank you for putting out such a wonderful magazine! I am one of those people who "hug" my magazine when I pick it up every month at the mall! Amy Bolton, Vice President,  MOMS Club of Villa Rica

This really is great news and we are so happy for you and your team! We have been collecting CHN&Vs as far back as we can remember, although we have given a few of them away, now regretfully. Your publication is like a fine record album. Each one has its own flavor and special parts. Thank you all. You should be entering some of the major journalism awards contests if you aren't already doing that. Quite a unique publication with a spirit that can't be beat that has tapped into and helped create the public consciousness here. . . A great service to Douglasville and Douglas County. A definition of genius is "aiming at a target than no one else sees, then hitting it. Only then do they see it, and say, 'Yeah, that's right!' " Richard

Hi Tim, I so enjoyed reading this email. I can hear the excitement in your (voice) as you put your thoughts through the keys. I, too, love the CHNV each month, and I try to read most of the articles. I enjoy the reference page areas and the photo pages that people send in. At home it is right there on the table with "People", "Sail" and "Guideposts" :o). Since we get it at our house in Arbor Station Subd. just before it comes here to Central Office, it's always funny when I bring mine in to work and everyone says, "Oh, it's time for the CHNV to come out!" Then we get them here (about a week later) and they go fast! Thanks for including me in your emails and thanks for the witness you acknowledged in this one. God is Good, and I pray you are blessed many times over. Nell

I love your magazine!! I want to keep my ad about the monthly meeting of the Country Pride Line Dance and Social Club in your magazine. Thanks so much, Linda Rowland

Dear Tim -- Congratulations, and well done!!! I loved reading your email and yes, I agree, God is truly blessing your magazine. I wanted to tell you - I work downtown Atlanta in one of the federal buildings, and several of my coworkers tell me they're keeping up with One Dollar Players through CHNV! One woman sends me her copy in the interoffice mail and tells me which page(s) to check out for news on our group! Of course, I have to send it back to her - but I wanted you to know that copies are circulating through the Russell Building downtown, too! You're everywhere!  Thanks, Adrienne, One Dollar Players

Hi Tim! We received the "News" yesterday. The picture was really cute! Do you know where I would be able to pick up some additional copies? Thanks! Danielle

Hi Tim: I'll try Printline tomorrow. Rachel was so excited about being in "Mama's magazine"! It was very cool! Thanks, again! Danielle

Hope you will take the time to check them both out, and, mark you calendars now for the Summer Concert Series dates, of June 25, July 23 & August 27!! Thanks! For The Kingdom, ~ Gary

Hello, I want to thank you for using the picture of our dog in last month's Chapel Hills News and Views. Lots of people saw it, and we were delighted to show off Angel. We appreciate your choosing to publish it. Marilyn Veley

Morning! Thanks for the reply. I was curious as I read it however, isn’t CHNV what you do full-time, or is it possible that you do this on the side? I could not imagine that being the case. I have seen CHNV as an incredible ministry to the Kingdom. I know it is a business & not deliberately a “Christian” or “secular” publication, but from my perspective it is ministry. I mean, you reach 35,000 folks monthly with it – they are your “audience” – you share the positive & uplifting with them – you encourage them – it’s success is proof that people get more from it than a list of restaurants or churches – otherwise they wouldn’t keep “coming back” and advertisers wouldn’t perceive it as one of the best communication mediums in DC. It is awesome. Gary

Tim, Thanks for asking but I don't need to run an ad. I am almost to the point where I am not able to take on any new clients. Hope everything is going well at CHNV. I am so grateful for your magazine. It has helped me so much in starting my business! Sherry

Thanks for those encouraging words! It really is amazing what God is doing through this magazine. Thanks for letting me be a part of it! Kerry Patuka, Children's Pastor, Crossroads Church

Hey Tim -Just wanted to let you know that we had a busy weekend!   On the registration card, we ask how they heard about us.  We had a few that wrote "drive by" and "friends” but the only advertisement that was mentioned was - CHNV!!   Thanks for a great publication.

And my whole Sunday School class was talking about the article and the "cute" pic of my little Ryan.  Thanks for all that you do - Your magazine is the best! Sheryl

Hello, Thank you so much for the wonderful add you included in your August issue. We have received wonderful feed back and are already gaining new members. The MOMs Club of Villa Rica would love to be added to your calendar of events.  Thanks, Leigh-Anne Singleton, AVP

We love your paper. As a matter of f act, I used to have something similar to it. It was called, "In Your Own Backyard." It is really a great resource for people like us who have just moved into the area. We have used many of your advertisers for different things that we wanted to have done in our home. Thanks, Beth

Tim, Thanks for your reply! We saw that you had published the lizard photo from the Petrified Forest. That’s great! You have my ongoing permission to publish any of the photos and photo illustrations I send with or without any commentary that I normally add to the e-mail. Your publication out-does itself each month. We don’t know how you manage such a monster job with so much finesse!

Unfortunately, when we returned from our adventure we found that our July and August issues of CHN&V had become water soaked even though we had friends who were supposedly bringing things inside out of our driveway. We did, however receive your latest tome (the September issue) and Norma joyfully brought it in to show me the lizard. Actually, we aren’t quite that self-centered. We have both looked through it and noticed that you are getting many more submissions and that’s great!!

People often complain that advertising doesn’t do them enough good for the money, but we’ve found that if we make the right size ad with the best eye-grabbing message, we attract the right customers. Often our best customers have been the other advertisers in a publication—they look through the ads to see theirs and find us (we’ve advertised before in the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Computer Currents, which is now called “Computer User).” The same goes for trade shows. The most likely customers at the little hi-tech trade shows we’ve participated in were the exhibitors themselves. Funny how that all works . . . Anyway, I’m glad you find my work worthy of publication and we are proud to be in some sense associated with you. We appreciate your interest! Thank you. - Richard

Tim, Your Katrina bulletin board is AWESOME. What a wealth of information that helps those of us "on the ground" to direct people to resources, etc.  Any time you get ready to challenge the Sentinel as a "real" newspaper, you let me join in on the fun. [I shudder to think of all the GREAT NEWS they're missing, because of ineptitude and laziness. Hey kids, get out of your office chairs, tear up some shoe leather and write a news story with a Douglas County angle! You can't help but fall over them every where you look these days!]  Sincerely, Heather McClain

Thanks bunches, Tim!  Your publication has done nothing but soar!  It's obvious that it was God's plan! Blessings,  BJ Belcher

Tim, I love the way you run your business..write your emails..walk in my store. It makes me feel good to know someone like you. You set a great example.  Thanks,  Cheryl (Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy)

Hey Tim...I have really been impressed with the number of calls generated by my ad in the CHNV. Personally, I have been referring to it instead of the Yellow Pages for years -- I've been reading it since it was 4 pages -- but I wasn't aware that so many other people were doing the same thing. I was wondering what the deal is on the feature columns, like the accountants, wedding planners, life coaches, etc. Are those considered to be paid ads or are they feature columns as long as they are not self-promoting? I was thinking that since you don't have an attorney writing a legal/law feature column, I would be interested in doing so.  Anyway, I know you're pushed for time this month, but when you get a breather, we can talk. Thanks, Craig Hardegree

Hey Tim, Thanks for the reminder and what a GREAT job you guys are doing! Here is my free ad:  . . .  Also, can you tell me how much it would cost to run by business card in the telephone directory?? THANKS! Sincerely, Mandy Seay Metro Brokers

I appreciate it.  And, while I am thinking of it, what day of the month (so I can write it down) is the deadline for the free CHN&V's real estate ad?  Also, yesterday I was at a Prudential office "seminar" at the courthouse. Wes Talon was giving us a "pep talk" about thinking outside of the box when it comes to our advertising our properties and us. He said something like, "No one reads the Neighbor Newspaper, but the Chapel Hill News & Views is something else!"  - Nancy Zose

Hi Tim, Though we will continue to keep an ad in CHNV at this time I am unsure of the size. I will have a decision for you NO LATER then the end of this week. Additionally, would you like an article for November and December relating to senior issues? If so, I will make sure you have 2 articles by the 10th or sooner. Thank you for the excellent job you and your staff do in providing a wonderful product to Douglas County. Best regards, Jill Meeks, Independent Living Services

Hi Tim, What a gorgeous News and Views !!! I am so impressed with what you have created. Thank you so much for the copies. I am so honored to be a part of this piece of work. I cannot believe how you have entwined the news and views of the neighborhood with the ads. I know why you work at home, you sleep and eat with it. You certainly don't have much time to play do you?

Like me, Fatal Addiction ruined a pretty good golf  game and precipitated the sale of my most cherished possession, a bass boat which Judy and I have had and used for 23 years.

Thanks again for the write-up Jimmy did. He does a great job with reviews I almost feel guilty about taking up your valuable time to ponder over my scribbling. Speaking of that, I can't wait to hear from you about FA and SW? Too much to ask but if you ever have a chance to write a review, it would be wonderful to have it at BN, Amazon.com or the Authors Den.com.

Have a Merry Christmas, Everett

Nothing to advertise for us (Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church). Just a note of encouragement that I'm praying for your meeting the early deadline with no bumps in the road. And also thanking you for the personal relationship you offer your customers through your e-mails. It's a pleasure. Happy Holidays Tim and crew! - Lexie

Hey Tim! Gotcha and I totally understand. You and this publication are a blessing in so many ways. I’m thrilled to be part of the magic! I’ll get everything to you ASAP! Thanks, Johnetta

Tim, Yes. Thank you. The color was much better. I appreciate your magazine and the effort you put into it to make it a quality piece and to give your customers the best possible representation. You play a very important role in our community. Thank you for all you do. Pastor Dave

Tim... I wrote a short article recapping the Halloween Race. I've also included results for the age group winners. If the winners list is to long... you can shorten it to just the Male/Female Overall and Male/Female Masters (First 4 groups on the list). Hope you can use one or both in the next issue. Thanks...P.S. Of all the race publications we advertised in... we got the most responses from the ad we put in your magazine. We'll definitely use you again for next year's race.

Tim, Would you please run this in the January edition of CHNV? And thanks very much for running our regular blurb each month! We get an incredible response from it. In fact, it is our best source of volunteer recruitment.  Thanks, Liz Byrd, Executive Director , Children's Voice: CASA, Inc.

Tim, I am on the Board of the Douglas County Humane Society and was fostering Buddy the German Shepherd who was featured in your paper. I just wanted to let you know about all the wonderful people that called re adopting Buddy. Buddy was adopted by a GSD rescue person but from all the exposure he received we were able to adopt another German Shepherd in the Douglas County area that needed help.  I just want to thank you for helping us out with all the adoptions it is so appreciated. Pam Cole, Douglas County Humane Society

Thanks Tim I am getting lots of compliments from the inserts BEAUTIFUL JOB. Just wanted to say Thank you. I don’t know if you hear that enough. Sometimes we just get more suggestions as feedback from customers and not enough Thanks. Thank you. Amanda with Joltys.

The girls are so excited when they see themselves in the Chapel Hill News, you do a wonderful job with the magazine. Thank you for your help.  (Referring to Girls from Douglasville Gymnastics and Cheerleading)

Hi Tim, I'm sure you’re very busy just like all of us these days, but just as a reminder  to please continue running our ad every month. My husbands business has quickly began to take off recently with a boom. He has been very shocked by the response from the ad so far this month. You really have a good thing going and I think by now you've out done yourself with all your resources. Thanks again, Pam, P&J's Cleaning Svc./Year One Home Maintenance

I guess the ad is working too well as I have worked 36 days straight now. Thank you, Chuck, Massey Outdoor Maintenance

See if this is what you can work with, I agree the wording is a little small..you are just awesome, what you do for us!! From Stacy Banks - Douglas County Bank.

That is why I like you and CHNV so much!! You are really good at what you do and go out of your way for your customers! I can tell how much you enjoy the work and you do an amazing job. I have always loved the mag even before I had the chance to work with you, now I love it and promote it even more. In fact, I am doing a seminar in April for Downtown D’ville about marketing and advertising to increase the businesses in that area and if you would not mind, I would like to use your publication as an example for promoting a business and running a successful ad campaign. I would like to have your price listings to hand out with samples of that month’s edition and could refer people to contact you if they are interested in advertising for their business.

Thanks for the invite but thanks to your magazine we are having to work seven day weeks for a while. How ever Thelma will take care of the pay pal this weekend. We appreciate your help with making our business grow as well. Thanks, Mike

Hello Tim, I'd say this is going over pretty well.  I just read all of your e-mails...that's amazing!  I think it speaks volumes for what people think of your publication and what they think of you as a person. Keep up the great work!  I believe Chimney Sweep is going to get a booth and participate in the Expo as a result of your e-mail. Thanks so much!!! John

We would like to add our web address to our ad, it is; www.hortmanandassociates.com.  We appreciate the good work you are doing with this publication, it keeps getting better! If you need to call regarding this, you can reach me at 770-577-1179.  Thanks, Beth Hortman

I want to say Thank you for the ad you did on A Gift of Love in March. I couldn't tell you how many calls I received to help. Thank You and May God keep blessing the CHNV. God Bless, Juanita Clay

Hey Tim, I just wanted to THANK YOU so much for putting my daughter Payton in the magazine with our dog "KC". She was thrilled. I will be contacting Judith to talk about a shoot for a possible cover in the near future. Payton will also be competing in the Douglas County Easter Extravaganza Pageant on April 23rd...I'll let you know how it goes! Thank you again....you made a little girls week and even better you may have a hand in helping her dream of becoming a model one day come true! Also wanted to inquire.....do you let just anyone write articles for you?? As a Realtor, I see SO MANY people who don't truly understand the importance of having a Buyer's agent to help protect them in buying real estate. Does it sound like anything worth me writing in about?? THANKS again, I am very happy for you about the progress of the magazine and I ALWAYS tell new agents in our office to definitely at the very least try a free add, it has worked for me before! Sincerely, Mandy Seay/ REALTOR Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate

No—not at this time. Thanks again. Apr issue is absolutely outstanding. I can remember several years ago when you started the CHN&W and the little info but informative information it contained. You and your staff have created a valuable asset to this community—you cover the business side but also include the humanity side of events going on. I thank you and your staff for an awesome publication I am more than proud of to send to those seeking information about Douglasville—You guys cover it ALL! May God continue to bless you! Sharon

Cynthia, Someone who moved  here  from England  three  weeks ago  found  our  group thru  CHN&V!   Just  wanted  to share  this  info  because  I  think  it  is  a  wonderful publication, and I like the  new binding.................Thanks  again!

I live on Post Road. I am on the corner of Post Rd and Downs Rd. It would be great if you delivered here. Your magazine is very informative. If you want to know what is coming into the county don’t buy the Sentinel, just open the Chapel Hill News. Thanks for all you do for the people of Douglas County. - Mike

Thanks – I knew I was late. Thanks for putting it on the web page. The new format for the publication is great. You have done a wonderful job with the CHN&V. I prefer it to our daily and weekly publications and hear other people say the same thing. Have a great day. Nelle

I love the way you make us feel that we are a part of the CHN&V complete package. It feels like family. No matter how big and successful you get, please keep us informed they way you would your family. Thanks for including us. God is good – all the time, Nelle

Tim,  That was me sitting in the waiting room at Forte yesterday. If I had any idea that was YOU, I would have hugged your neck!! Heather's playing the dinner music for us during the Public Safety Appreciation banquet. What a sweetheart! Just wanted you to know two things: 1) I can't tell you the number of people who suggested I put an article in the CHNV about the banquet. When I told them that I had already submitted the article EVERY SINGLE ONE of them praised you so highly!! Or course, I agreed wholeheartedly! 2) If there is ever any time you need someone to write an article about faith, encouraging people in the Word, please let me know. I'd be glad to help any way I can.

I am so thrilled for your success I can hardly stand it!! The Lord has honored your benevolence and goodness. I'm looking forward to seeing you again. :-) God bless, Karen

Hi Tim, We will be running another full page ad in June--thanks again-- and I just praise God at your success. I am proud to see, and be a part of, another Douglasville business being successful. We have had great response to our ads with you and I look forward to much success for both of us in the future. My most powerful moments are when I do payroll and realize people are not only earning a living by something I helped create but they are buying new cars and sending their kids to school, going on vacation, and buying new homes. I am so humbled by this and thank God every day for this abundance. I wish the young man you just hired much success and if I can help I will.  God Bless.  Sincerely, Jennifer Clay

You're welcome, and business is really picking up -- thanks to Chapel Hill News & Views!!! In fact, I've been too busy to write another article, but hope to do that again in the near future. Nikki Premier Petsitting

Your announcement of Eclipsed has sent more calls - even as far away as Powder Springs - than the other two papers combined. May I offer you two complimentary tickets to closing night? I know it's short notice as it is this Monday night, but I wanted you to know I really appreciate your help. I only have 8 seats left, so please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks, Carol

I can't wait each month for your new issue. I read it from cover to cover. There is no other place in Douglas County where I can get most of the info you print, and I appreciate your work! - Jamile Johnson

Jason,  The ad looks great. I received several calls within hours of it going out so lets leave it the same. I will forward my payment with the enclosed invoice today.  Thanks! Sheena

Sorry…Should have mentioned that we are totally willing to pay for a copy or two…One for us and one for the grandparents!!!! Keep up the wonderful work! I totally enjoy this magazine more than the ones that I pay to have subscriptions for.  (My daughter Ava was one of the babies from the contest a few months ago and she got an “Honorable Mention” in the magazine and we are just soooooo proud!!!) - Tara Fasone

I am very pleased with the nice book you have now. My dance club ad has brought us several callers interested in the Club. Thanks. Linda Rowland

Hi Joe,  just wanted to say thank you and to let you know how much of a blessing Chapel Hill News is to this community. Honestly, I know you guys have been around for a long time but this is the first year I have really followed your paper and it have blessed me in a way that words can never express. Please keep doing what your doing but just keep getting better!!!!  Tishri

Thanks For All Your Help! We had great response due to the ad in your magazine.  Since our camp is only held in July we will not need to run another ad until next year.  Again, thanks for your help and we will be in touch early next year.  - Taneskia Purnell , Director, Jabari Smith Youth Basketball Camp

Love your magazine. I read all the articles and view all the ads. Your commitment to local businesses in the Douglasville area is incredible! Great to see new businesses start up and the articles you provide is so informational and visible to your audience. Keep up the great work!

I see you publish pictures of pets. If in upcoming issues you have a need for pictures then I would feel very honored to see the attached picture in one of your issues. You must know I will be excited to view every monthly magazine even if you haven't a need for pet pictures. The attachment is Bo & Gadge. Bo the dachshund and Gadge the short haired bird dog pointer. Take Care.

I’ll tell Lindsey to be looking in the Sept issue. Oh and by the way those Chapel Hill News that were dropped off here are disappearing like hot cakes. Riders really seem to enjoy them. Jerie McGinnis - Douglas County Transportation Center

Hello - I am interested in getting the Chapel Hill News & View.  We live at ... and we would like to get the Chapel Hill News & View if possible.  Please let me know.  We love it and we don't get it so we are always stealing our parents and friends. Thanks, Whitney Lester

My husband has large company on Cleburne Pkwy and would have loved to see them delivered there but no problem. This is a great magazine – the best I’ve read – more interesting than most! Thanks –  Tracy Snipes

Tim, I think you've got a good one. Jason is a great kid...I have to say kid because I'm 43 (anyone under 25 is a kid now) I can honestly tell you that I get more satisfaction when I recommend you guys than I do any other Chamber member. I'm sure people can notice my face start to glow and notice excitement in my voice when I talk about CHN & V. I know that your whole staff is made up of wonderful ethical Christian people, and you guys do such a high quality piece that is very entertaining. I like directing people to something that I know will benefit their business. I tell people about you almost every day and I will continue to do so. Have a great weekend!!! Thanks!!! John Grey, Director of Membership & Events , www.douglascountygeorgia.com

Tim, Attached is the proof to the next SWCC page for September - Here's a note about our organization for your Events section (our notice appeared on page 5 of the August issue under 8/3--):

We switched to the second Thursday of September to meet instead of the first Thursday. I'm not sure why, it wasn't my decision. So this next month the Sweetwater Camera Club meeting will take place on Thursday evening, 8/14 at 7:30 p.m. Everything else remains the same. We had at least 5 new people or families show up for our August 3rd meeting as a result of this CHN&V page, and two of them joined the organization immediately. The others plan to join next month.

Each of them say the same thing-- that they would never have known Douglas County even had a camera club but  they had seen your magazine. One of them referred to the CHN&V as "the bible and catalog of people and events that defines west Atlanta." I thought that was pretty cool. So thanks again. It's good to see your publication is growing although I know that means more work and stress. Richard

Hello, We haven't received your publication in a while. We really enjoy the publication and the park patrons look for it! Please don't forget about us! We love what you do! Thank you, Brittany M. Dailey  DCPR Secretary

Hi, I'm happy to announce that Rocky has been adopted!!! Thank you all for your help. We received sooooo many calls on him. Between your site and the ad you put in the Chapel Hills News and Views, the response was just great. You guys are very appreciated. Thanks again, Susie

Tim - Thought I would share with you that we got over 200 of our contest inserts returned during tax free weekend. We were really pleased with the response, especially considering the window to participate was small (4 days). Anyway, I think I am stumbled upon a great idea that we are going to use again with future CHNV advertising. Talk at you later. Todd Anderton, CMD Marketing Director, Arbor Place

Great issue - naturally! I love the cover, but then I have always been a flag waver, and of course, NY was my home for 27 yrs.

Congratulations on your celebrity survival.  Seems to be an even bigger success than last year!  Must make you feel very proud. Nancy

Hi Tim, I received your magazine this morning. Our ad looks great. The whole magazine looks great. Please do not forget to e-mail me an invoice. Thank you. BettyJo

Thanks for all your assistance. We love the magazine and the massive content available to the community. I personally "seek out" the locations to pick one up monthly. LOL! Charlotte at West Metro Church of God

We Love You For Being There To Get The Word Out Wherever And Whenever You Can.  Its Always Helpful.  Thank You. Callye

As usual, your reminders are right on time.  I will send the info to chnewsnviews@aol.com.  Happy Holidays to you, your family and your staff.  I enjoy reading the magazine in the doctors office!  You are wonderful!!  We are so glad you are in place to help organizations and people get the word out about their events, programs and announcements. - Callye

TIM...THANK YOU for everything you're doing to get the word out about the museum.  YOU ARE AWESOME! It is my plan to work towards a budget to promote the museum's programs.  In the meantime, this event won't make up for all you have done for us but for starters, I can send over (2) comp tickets to you.  Please respond ASAP, Callye

Hi Tim, Good job on the August issue. Many people have stated to me that they really enjoy the magazine. I'm working on the September article right now and should have it finished soon. Hope all is well with you and your family. Carol

The new issue is lovely! You were very kind to thank everyone in the front as you did. I think God has blessed your family and work richly because you have honored Him with it. I am proud and thankful to have been a part of it and grateful you have given me a voice.

Dear Advertising Specialists: 1) Thank you for being a part of publicizing the spring revival at Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church. I have nothing but praise for your publication! I only wish that I had saved the first ones I received; they may be worth something some day. You have come such a long way in the professionalism of this magazine! Thank you for working so hard on it. It is sure to be everyone’s local favorite, if it is not already. 2) Could you send one to Pastor Mack Lively at... I can’t loan him mine and he is interested in seeing one. I picked up my first ones at the dentist office and now they come to my home, thank you. 3) Would you please put in your announcement section: Vacation Bible School will be held at Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church in the evenings, June 23 through June 28. Please contact the church for more information at 770-949-4941. Thank you, Lexie Mahon, Church Secretary

Hey Tim, Thanks for your timely response in regard to my ad questions. I was only concerned because I was asked to proof some copy and before I could I was informed it had gone to press.

I think you guys do a great job with the magazine. I tell a lot of other business owners about it and believe it is a very professional operation. I will continue to advertise in the magazine and totally agree the ad for June is in a prime location and it could not be much better.  I will call Joe for a few changes for the July issue in the next day or so.  Thanks again, Chuck Tamburo, Decks @ Best

Hey Tim, No, it's okay. Our classes run with a 4 or 6 week break in between them, so there aren't classes scheduled for March, but thanks for being so on top of things! It's easy to see why your magazine has become so popular. You are great!  Thanks again, Meredith

Dear Tim, Wasn't sure if you would receive this personally, but wanted to say...  Wow! CHN&V Looks Simply Fantastic!  Congratulations on a great job! - Darleen Claire Wodzenski  Thank you.

I spoke to Nelson Cruz of Cruz Pest Control yesterday. Both he and his wife told me that their ad in your magazine has really worked well for them. They actually said the only advertising that has worked for them is your magazine and the yellow pages. I thought you would like to know that. It's great news! I am placing your payment in mail today. Thanks!  Take care,  Michele

Tim, here's the info we talked about yesterday. I e-mailed it last night and it came back to me for some reason. I hope you can still find a place for it in this issue, but if not I understand. I included the picture with the text, but I can separate it if you need me to. I know that in doing the newsletter for our neighborhood (Slater Mill Plantation) that I sometimes find layout easier if people e-mail me articles separate from photos so I can edit as needed. Let me know if I need to modify it in any way. I've also included the listing, which can be under "home decor" or whatever category you deem best. I am also interested in placing a "classified" type ad for recruits. I'm not sure I know your price structure for that, or if I even recall ever seeing such in "News & Views". I've been an avid reader since the first issue, but never really looked for employment listings. Let me know if you can do that. I may also want a small display ad featured in the next issue, I'll get back to you on that. Congratulations on how well you've grown over the last couple of years. Everyone I know loves your magazine, you've certainly filled a void. We always patronize the advertisers and get quite of bit of info we didn't know from reading the articles. The coupons are great, too. (especially Cold-Stone, we probably never would have known they were there if it weren't for you, and we told him that) Keep up the good work and thanks for the publicity. I'll touch base with you next month. Beth

You are very welcome. I really enjoy your magazine. I can kinda keep up with things even though I am home bound most of the time. Thanks a lot for all the good info. Thanks Betty

Hello!  The basketball schedule I e-mailed last month finishes our sports schedule for the school year, I think. Also, thank you for the Chapel Hill News and Views for November. It was in my yard last Wednesday. If any sports schedules are added I will e-mail them to you.  THANKS AGAIN for all the coverage and for my copy of Chapel Hill News and Views!!!!! Colleen

Tim, Thanks for all your hard work. It came out in the October issue of Chapel Hill News and Views.  Thanks for your attention on The article for the Shelter. We ALL appreciate your work. I can get you a calendar of events for the next issue, or use an article you might already have from us, or do you want/need a new article? Let me know. We have a lot coming up, so a calendar of events, plus our current wish list might fill what you need. Just let me know. Thanks again for all you do. The mag is great, we always brag about it. - Diana Memmolo

Thanks, it came yesterday. Looks GREAT. Thanks of the wonderful pet section. I read the mag from cover to cover last night. Diana M

Tim, I received your email.  The staff/students are anxiously awaiting the publication of the school-wide flag photo in your February edition!  I will alert the parents in our February PTSO newsletter (in case one of the students has forgotten to tell them).

Yes, my home address is ....  We do not seem to be receiving a copy of the magazine every month.  However, my parents give me theirs, so I am seeing a copy.  I look forward to reading through it each month. Sincerely, Dale Constien, HSES PTSO President

Tim, Please run the same ad for us in November.  Thanks for your quality magazine. Pastor Dave Divine - The Church at Chapel Hill

THANKS!!! Will you be able to do the magazines for our bags too? Let me know. Again, we will have tote bags for each lady. We are collecting items to put in the bags. I know that I enjoy reading your magazine each month, and I thought this would be a great item if you can do it. Thanks again!  Sheryl

Also, thanks for your help with our ladies conference at church. Thanks for the magazines too! Sheryl

Your ads always look so nice. Thanks, Sheryl

Yes, I have had quite a few to comment about seeing the picture and the article.  I was very pleased with it. Hope to pick up some extra copies before they get gone.  My Mom has been in and out of the hospital over the last week and will be the coming week, so I haven't had a chance to look for any copies since the one delivered to my home on July 4th.  If I don't get a chance to find any over the next few days and you have any extras, please let me know. Thanks again for doing the article.  I'm sure once everything is o.k. with my Mom, retirement will be wonderful. Debbie

Since your publication started I make special trips to locate them every month.Last night I made my second trip to the mall this month to get your publication, the first time they were not there yet.  Imagine my surprise to find your publication in my driveway today!  Thanks!   Barbara Cagle

Tim, just a note to say thanks, the write up and photo looked great. We appreciate what you do. TIM J. FUSSELL

Hi Tim, I'm not sure how we got on the CHNV deadline memo, but thought I would take the time to say I really enjoy the Chapel Hill News and Views. It has so much information.

Keep up the good work. Teresa

Thank you for publishing such a great magazine and allowing us to be a part of it! Have a great weekend! Kimberly!

Thanks!  You're great! Patty

Genius, Genius, Genius! IT LOOKS WONDERFUL!!! I am TOO excited! Gail

The mom of Gabrielle(the student) says that she has been a little celebrity since everyone has seen the magazine. I thought that was sweet.  Can you change the blue in the ad to purple? That is our color. You should come and see our purple decorated tree at the studio. It is so cool.  I will be at the studio tomorrow around 12:45 if you want to come and get your check. HP

You are so sweet!  I didn't know you had me in the yellow pages!  Thanks. Actually I moved out of that Antique Shop because it wasn't doing so great for me. People were coming there for antiques.  Go figure. I did better in my home so I went home.  I appreciate you having me in the yellow pages section and I will let you know when I can advertise.  Hoping that the upcoming wedding season will bring me some business.  I will start asking how people found me to see where the calls are coming from. Thanks for thinking of me.  If it ever becomes a problem or burden to have me in there, feel free to remove it. Again, thanks for keeping up with me.  I really hoped that renting the space in a business would open up a whole new world for me when people could find me, but they never did.  I see now that the antique store is also closed so apparently they didn't do so well either.  I am glad to see that you are doing so wonderful in your business endeavors and I always look forward to getting your magazine.  I love it.  Have a blessed day!!  Glynda Anderson

They are gone!!! Very popular. Stick 2 under my door in future. Thanks.  Gordon Johnson - referring to the stack of 50 magazines which disappeared from Gold’s Gym in about 4 days.

Tim, You are such an angel. You just don't realize the smile on my daughter's face when she sees herself. No nothing for January yet. Thanks a lot, Joy

You are the greatest, and I am sure that we can link you. I have a meeting with the web-host in the morning and I will talk to him about it. Thanks again, Janice Johnson, Director of Marketing & Business Development, Douglas County Chamber of Commerce

Tim, Unfortunately nothing. But I did want to tell you how much I enjoyed the celebrity challenge. What a wonderful giving idea. Joy

Our food drive will end on October 31st. I will send you a results press release at the beginning of November for the December News and Views. Thanks Tim! The CHN&V is looking great!  Kimberly Strong

Tim, Thanks so much for putting the poem in the magazine in April's issue! It was fabulous & we have had so many comments on it. We always rush out to get the latest issue when it arrives & were even more thrilled this month. Thanks & keep up the great work. Everyone appreciates it more than you know. - Kris & Jenny Hinson

Will do get to you by Friday - canyou save space for our press release and pic on the Gala/Fashion Show for the Jr League and we also won an Interanational Award for Best GF program.  Tom has had a lot of people mention it - you have a loyal readership! Leslie

Tim, you are absolutely wonderful. I know i`ve been a real pain, i do appreciate your patience and hard work. I promise next month I will be easier to get along with.  Lisa

To whom it may concern, Just wanted to let you know that I am a Douglasville resident and a HUGE fan of the magazine in and every month.  It sure provides myself and my family great information about our area.

I loved the ad, and was so excited to show it to everyone that I must have forgotten to tell you! Thank You! Logan from Curves

Yes,  I would like to do a 1/2 page again, and with similar ad....I will send you new photo of individual person as well as October special copy.  Tim, do you still have that disk with photos on it?  = Logan PS - You were right about this ad, we have had literally entire evenings filled with appointments that were brought in by that ad!! You are too much!!  Please ask me for something one day soon!

Dear Tim, Thank you for the great work you do in making my Ads! It looks great!! I am sorry I am so late in getting back to you ... I was out all last week with a horrible stomach virus ... YUCK! But, what you did for the ad is wonderful! Thanks again, Valerie

Tim, Congratulations!!! So glad you're obtaining such a terrific level of success! We definitely want to stay onboard such a winning team. You can count on us to stick with you like glue. Same ad size, same copy at the increased rate. We're gonna ride the wave, you just keep on rolling!  Cruz Pest Control, Inc. Nelson & Marie!

Hello Tim!  I hope all is going well for you and your family!!!  Thanks for sending the back issues to me!  I haven't seen the Feb. issue yet but I've heard it's great and that our ad looks good.  I hope to be able to pick up a copy within the next day or so.

This is from me - we talked about doing an interview for my church newsletter.  I would really like to do that for my upcoming March issue.  I know that you are probably very busy and if we could not get together some time soon, maybe I could send you some questions through the e-mail.  Just let me know what is convenient for you.  Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you soon! - Carol

Tim, Thanks so much for sharing this information with me - I know that it is going to bless someone because it certainly did bless me. Yours is proof that as long as you put God first, everything we do will be successful! I'll get a copy of the newsletter to you after it's printed and distributed the first of March. Carol

Thanks so much!  I have started picking up two copies - one for myself and one for my parents.  They love it, too. They rarely read the Sentinel or the Neighbor, but they scour every issue of CHN&V.  Most everyone I know actually sits down and reads it cover to cover. Someone published a Douglasville magazine about ten years ago -- can't remember the name -- but it wasn't successful because it didn't offer the things that most people wanted. Richard

We've gotten good response from the ad. Thanks for your help. Stephanie A.

Hi Tim, Yes, I got the July issue with my little girls. Thank you so much for putting their picture in. Susan

Thanks Tim - that's a relief.  We were more than happy to put your name on the flyer - we appreciate you printing the articles.  We have had quite a few people say they that they saw it.  I'll definitely contact the radio station - that would be a big help in getting the word out.  Thanks, Shelley

We often thank God for you! Sonja

Thank you for running our ad, love your magazine. Sue Roberts

Thank you for always replying so quickly to my messages. I appreciate it and your direction on this subject. One of the newspapers will be doing a story that will suggest keeping the bows looking fresh. As for your magazine, keep up the great work. It is an uplifting and positive publication that I look forward to every month. Thanks again. Veronica M. Elliott, Main Street Manager, City of Douglasville

Thanks again for yesterday afternoon's check delivery time. It was fun, ended this year on a high note, and started next year on a high note, too. I am so proud of you and your family and what you have done in this regard, and also with CHN&V.  Thanks, Wes

Hey Tim...Thanks for all that you do!! You're AWESOME! Amanda

Tim - I am astounded by how quickly you have pulled all of this together! I have gotten initial blessings from Bill and Frank. Operationally, there are few kinks I have to iron out, but overall, I think we are fine. I would propose that you, me and Janine meet ASAP to get our action plan finalized. This should be a great event! Let me know when you can meet. Todd Anderton, CMD, Marketing Director, Arbor Place

Thank you for all you do to serve God and the people of our community. Marsha Clark

Oh thank you so very much. I look forward to the publication - I get mine at Gold’s Gym - I love to read through it, you do a fine job of letting the public know what is happening and I like to see where is good to eat, what the commissioners and mayor has to say. You should get a gold star for this little booklet - thanks again. Pam Daniell, BSN Program Manager Medical & CTC Operations

What a beautiful ad! It looks great … you always do such a wonderful job! God will bless all of your efforts.  Sheryl
